Creating Elements
There are five ways to create (insert new) elements in GoldSim:

using the context menu of the graphics pane The primary portion of the GoldSim interface, where the graphical depiction of the model is shown.;

using the element toolbar;

using shortcut keys;

using the context menu for a Container An element that acts like a "box" or a "folder" into which other elements can be placed. It can be used to create hierarchical models. element; and
-
using the main menu.
The first two methods are the most common and straightforward method, and they also have the advantage that they allow you to specify exactly where the element is inserted in the graphics pane.
