In order to gain a better appreciation for how to use Time Series elements, the manner in which the outputs are computed for each of the four kinds of input data is described in the topics below, along with an example for each kind of input. The specific examples mentioned here can be viewed in the file named BasicTimeSeries.gsm, which can be found in the TimeSeries subfolder of the General Examples folder in your GoldSim directory (accessed by selecting File | Open Example... from the main menu).
