Instantaneously Replacing the
Current Quantity in a Pool
In some cases, you may want to instantaneously replace the current value (the Quantity) of a Pool A stock element that integrates and conserves flows of materials. A Pool is a more powerful version of a Reservoir (it has additional features to more easily accommodate multiple inflows and outflows). with a specified value.
This can be accomplished by checking the Additions
field and specifying a link to a
Note: If you have specified an Upper or Lower Bound, and choose to Replace the current value of a Pool, the replacement value must be within the bounds (or GoldSim will display a fatal error message).
