Instantaneously Replacing the
Current Value of a Reservoir
In some cases, you may want to instantaneously replace the current value of a Reservoir A stock element that integrates and conserves flows of materials. with a specified value.
This can be accomplished by checking the Additions field and specifying a link to a discrete change signal A discrete signal that contains information regarding the response to an event. with a Replace instruction.
Note: If you have specified an Upper or Lower Bound, and choose to Replace the current value of a Reservoir, the replacement value must be within the bounds (or GoldSim will display a fatal error message).
