Terminating Clients from the Controller Process

You can terminate (close) a Client process from the machine on which the Client is running so that it can no longer be accessed by the Controller.

You can also terminate Clients from the Controller machine.  To terminate all Clients, press the Terminate all clients button:

This is typically what you would do when you complete your simulation.  You can terminate an individual Client process by clearing the Active checkbox.  When you do this, you will be presented with a dialog asking if you want to terminate the Client process or simply make it inactive (i.e., stop using it, but keep it open).

Warning: Although the Controller can terminate Client processes, it cannot launch them.  A Client process can only be restarted by opening the process locally on the remote machine.
