In some cases, you may want to define the parameters of a failure mode using an expression that refers to the current value of the FMCV Failure Mode Control Variable.. When specifying failure mode parameters, the current "age" of the selected failure mode is available as a locally available property called FMCV (referenced as "~FMCV").
Note, however, that the FMCV local variable is only available for failure mode parameters that are "dynamic" (i.e., where changes take effect immediately).
